sicko.

We're watching this right now. Have you seen it? Oh my goodness. I think everyone should watch it. If you are still against health reform after seeing this movie, you must be blind and deaf. I do realize Moore doesn't answer every question (like he never actually asks the French middle-class couple how much they actually pay in taxes) but he exposes some real issues and totally made me want to move.

A and I don't talk too much about politics. I'm mostly left of center and (I think) he leans to the right. We mostly just keep things respectful, and we agree on a lot of big things, like immigration reform. After watching this, I think we may agree that even if the health reform bill isn't perfect, it is important that it passed. We need to have a starting point, we need change. We need to stop this epidemic of people dying of poverty. Okay, I better stop there and get off my soapbox now. The point is, watch this movie, and tell me what you think. If you aren't completely frustrated with our system afterward, well then I don't know what to tell you.

ha ha. I love that you use the term blind and deaf - as in people who could really benefit from the reform bill. I have been wanting to see this movie for a long time too, thanks for reminding me to watch it.
