We had our twelve week appointment last Friday, and guess what? Baby's still in there! We heard the heartbeat for the first time, it was a healthy 165 bpm. I was one big smile. And, the baby was really high in my abdomen and felt bigger than twelve weeks three days, whatever that means. I also found out that because I have A- blood and A had A+ blood, I well have you get a rhogam shot. But, I probably won't have to be hooked up to an iv, and they won't force me to be induced on Christmas day, two awesome things.

Meanwhile, I'm still feeling great! And still tired a lot. And I ordered some maternity clothes from Old Navy. I've already worn the black short-sleeved maxi dress (love!), and won't be big enough for the cute shirts for another few weeks. Finding comfortable pants is also becoming increasingly challenging, though luckily my maternity work pants fit pretty well.

Next doc appointment is in four weeks, the morning we leave for Yellowstone, and the next one is the gender reveal ultrasound! Other big milestones, I'm sharing the news with my employer tomorrow, and after that with the facebook world. I'm looking forward to not having to dress secretively anymore!

I have to get rhogam in August. I'll tell ya how it goes. From what I understand it hurts pretty badly. Cross your fingers!
