My birthday is next Saturday. Last year it was a little forgotten because my mom actually had a birthday, which only happens every four years, so it was kind of a big deal, plus she rolled over into the 60's, which was also a big deal. Well, this year is a big deal for me. Usually I try to leave the personal details out of this blog, but I'll make an exception just this once. I'll be the big two-oh, finally out of the teens. That's a big deal. I think last year some people forgot my birthday too, that was a bummer. So, that's why I'm doing this reminder blog. You may want to mark your calendars. It's a weird birthday for me, I almost feel like my age is catching up with me. People always assume I'm at least 23, and I think I often feel older than I am. I guess that is why getting older doesn't feel so bad. If I can have some good cake on my birthday, I'll be completely happy.
