DISNEYLAND!

We had a fantastic 2nd honeymoon, a.k.a. our anniversary trip. We spent Friday, Saturday, and Monday at Disneyland and California Adventure. Sunday, we attended a local church meeting and then went to the beach. Highlights were the Hollywood Tower of Terror, the new Toy Story ride, and a romantic dinner at the Blue Bayou, better known as the restaurant inside of Pirates of the Carribean. The Toy Story ride really was so fun, it was much better than the Nemo submarine ride, which we waited for more than 70 minutes to go on. We watched one of the last Alladin shows for the next few months, as VIP's courtesy of the Dream Team, which meant we got the best seats in the house. It was so fun to be there together, and it made us even more excited to go there someday, a long time in the future, with little ones.

Lucky girl! I never realized how fun DL was until we went a few years ago. We loved it, too!

Hey Marta - peter wants to know if it is a "real wall-e" that you had your picture with. You will have to fill him in on the details next time we see you.

Unfortunately, I did not get to meet the real wall-e. That was just a super sturdy cardboard-like standup of him. However, I did take some pictures of the Cars in the Pixar Play Parade especially for Peter. We saw Lightning McQueen and Mater.

Could you get a print made of the Wall-E picture? Peter looked at it for literally half an hour yesterday and brought his toy Wall-E and Eve to see it! He was begging to see it again today, but I was too busy with the computer at the time. (does blogger let ME download and print your pictures? wasn't sure if this was violating rules or anything so I didn't try, but I could to save you doing it.)

I'm brimming with envy. James and I meant to go when we were in California this summer, but we never got around to it. Maybe during Christmastime (during the holidays ((i.e. the day after halloween)) they pipe a cinnamon sent onto main street. awesome).

p.s. was it way crowded?

*yikes, that's clearly supposed to be cinnamon scent. It was way late when I typed this, if that counts at all.

Valerie, late night comments are allowed to have tired mistakes. All the smells there got me, the churros, the Bengal Barbeque...mmmmmn... the smell of Disney.
