Let the games begin...

I weighed in this morning, to my own, personal weight watching program. Here's what it involves: not eating candy at work, eating more fruits and veggies, exercising at least three times per week. I ate a Cinnamon roll with strawberries and milk to drink for breakfast. Grapes, an apple, and more strawberries were my before-the-workout snack. I rocked the elliptical for an intense 15 minute workout (no laughing, I have to slowly work my way up.) Then I had spaghetti with meatballs and garlic bread, and carrot cake for lunch. For dinner I think we'll eat leftover pizza. I guess I'm not eating super healthy, but at least I didn't eat any candy!

I know you are supposed to exercise a lot more than three times a week, but I figure, if I'm not exercising at all now, that three times a week ought to do something.

I'm on the high end of my healthy weight range, but also on the so-tight-that-they-won't-actually-really-button end of my cutest jeans from a year ago. Something's gotta give, and it's not going to be me giving my cute jeans to the DI.

I hate it when skinny skinny girls complain about being "fat," and since I'm technically in the healthy range, I'm not going to be hypocritical. I'm not saying I'm obese, I'm just admitting that I could be healthier, and that I have been before.

My goal is not a number, its a pair of jeans.

Good for you for reeling it in now. It only gets harder as you get older, and I say that as someone who shares your gene pool.
