When the bells all ring, and the horns all blow, and the couples we know are fondly kissing...

Happy New Year! A and I rang in 2009 with wings and Wii, a match made in heaven. We also enjoyed some sparkling organic juice of some sort, peach, orange, and pear flavored. We shared with A's sister's family, they picked up some delicious Little World pork lo mien. We then played Mario Kart, and I was lucky to come in 7th or 8th, and usually came in last, but it was SO fun. While we were gone, someone in our neighborhood, just down the street, was robbed. Two gunmen broke in and tied up the woman and two children that were home and stole a safe. SCARY! My chances of getting a dog are definitely going up.
New Years day we had lunch with my dad's side of the family, which included lots of cute great-grand kids and delicious food.
Overall 2008 was a good year for us. We survived our first year of marriage, escaped to California twice, as well as to the beautiful Tetons. A got himself the perfect truck for only 150 bucks, and cultivated a successful garden, while I was awarded a full-ride scholarship and this fall earned a 4.0 GPA for probably the first time since elementary school. Like I said, it was a good year, but I'm looking forward to an even better 2009.

Congratulations on your grades! I hadn't heard. That means you will keep the scholarship money for sure. Keep up the good work and you'll be done before you know it... well almost. ;-)
