date night
Saturday we had a date night: Indian food and the latest Batman.
Food was okay (they started using garlic powder on the garlic naan, not the best plan). The movie was excellent. It was a little bit of a reality check, after the horrible shooting in Colorado. It made the violence in the film seem more horrible, and fragility of life more apparent. That could have been me, in that theater. It could have been any of us.
On a lighter note, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The action scenes weren't too long. The new characters were cast perfectly. The suspense was thrilling. The ending was perfect.
Question though, can there be a Robin without a Batman? I won't say any more about it for those who haven't seen the movie yet, but it did leave me with this question.
